Klaus and Kinski "Mamá no quiero ir al colegio"

Grupo/Interprete: Klaus and Kinski
Canción: Mamá no quiero ir al colegio
Disco: Tierra trágalos
Estilo: Indie Pop, Shoegaze

Girls "Lust for life"

Grupo/Interprete: Girls
Canción: Lust for life
Disco: Album (20099
Estilo: Indie Rock.

Oh I wish I had a boyfriend
I wish I had a loving man in my life
I wish I had a father
And maybe then I woulda turned out right
But now I'm just crazy, I'm totally mad
Yeah I'm just crazy, I'm fucked in the head
And maybe if I really tried with all of my heart
Then I could make a brand new start in love with you

Oh I wish I had a sun tan
I wish I had a pizza and a bottle of wine
I Wish I had a beach house
Then we could make a big fire every night
Instead I'm just crazy, I'm totally mad
Yeah I'm just crazy, I'm fucked in the head

And maybe if I really tried with all of my heart
Then I could make a brand new start in love with you.

Spoon "The Mystery Zone"

Grupo/Interprete: Spoon
Canción: The Mistery Zone
Disco: Transference (2010)
Estilo: Indie Rock

Esta canción pertenece al último disco de esta banda de Austin el cual, según la crítica y las listas que ya se están realizando, es de los mejores del presente año.

Picture yourself
Set up for good in a whole other life
In the mystery zone

Make us a house
Some far away town
Where nobody will know us well
Where your dad's not around
And all the trouble you look for all your life
You will find it for sure
In the mystery zone

Times that we met
Before we met
Times that we met
We'll go there
To the mystery zone
Ah the mystery zone

There goes the rider
At gates of dawn
He takes no prisoners at all
He'll be there on his own

What gets him gone
Off down that road
Is something he don't understand
Ooh! The mystery zone

Maybe all he wants
Maybe all he needs
Is to know that the sun don't set
On the mystery zone

How come it feels so familiar
When you never been there?
How come it seems so unreachable
You never tried to find
Never tired to find the mystery zone
Mystery zone, oooh!

All of the people
You used to run into but never do now
They took off for the mystery zone

And when you know love
When you find it for real
It contains the emotion sense of
Everyone ready
Your cover was blown
You weren't there but you were
Ooh in the mystery zone
You weren't there but you were
You weren't there but you were

Openin' windows
Doors never close it's the fresh air fiend
It's the information troll

We'll pack a bag
Sendin' it off just some things that never fit right
To the m...
And we'll send it ahead as a test so we'll know
Call it up when it gets there
"What's it like in the mystery zone?"

The times that we met
Before we met
We'll go back there
Oh, times that we met
We'll go back
We'll go back there
The mystery zone
To the mystery zone
The mystery zone
Oh the mys...

They Might Be Giants "Ana NG"

Grupo/Interprete: They Might Be Giants (Boston 1983- ?)
Canción: Ana NG
Disco: Lincoln (1988) Segundo disco de la banda.
Estilo: Pop Rock Alternativo, College Rock

Make a hole with a gun perpendicular
To the name of this town in a desk-top globe
Exit wound in a foreign nation
Showing the home of the one this was written for
My apartment looks upside down from there
Water spirals the wrong way out the sink
And her voice is a backwards record
It's like a whirlpool and it never ends

Ana Ng and I are getting old
And we still haven't walked in the glow of each other's majestic presence
Listen Ana hear my words
They're the ones you would think I would say if there was a me for you

All alone at the '64 World's Fair
Eighty dolls yelling "Small girl after all"
Who was at the Dupont Pavilion?
Why was the bench still warm? Who had been there?
Or the time when the storm tangled up the wire
To the horn on the pole at the bus depot
And in the back of the edge of hearing
These are the words the voice was repeating:

Ana Ng and I are getting old
And we still haven't walked in the glow of each other's majestic presence
Listen Ana hear my words
They're the ones you would think I would say if there was a me for you

When I was driving once I saw this painted on a bridge:
"I don't want the world, I just want your half"

They don't need me here, and I know you're there (don't need me)
Where the world goes by like the humid air (world goes by)
And it sticks like a broken record
Everything sticks like a broken record
Everything sticks until it goes away (it goes home)
And the truth is, we don't know anything (don't know)

Ana Ng and I are getting old
And we still haven't walked in the glow of each other's majestic presence
Listen Ana hear my words
They're the ones you would think I would say if there was a me for you

Ana Ng and I are getting old
And we still haven't walked in the glow of each other's majestic presence
Listen Ana hear my words
They're the ones you would think I would say if there was a me for you

Ana Ng and I are getting old
And we still haven't walked in the glow of each other's majestic presence
Listen Ana hear my words
They're the ones you would think I would say if there was a me for you

Buffalo Tom "Tangerine"

Grupo/Interprete: Buffalo Tom
Canción: Tangerine
Disco: Sleepy Eyed
Estilo: Pop Rock Alternativo

Esperando que el próximo año 2011 salga a la luz "Skins", el octavo disco de estudio de este trio de Boston, ahí va otra maravilla. Tangerine es la canción con la que comienza "Sleepy Eyed" (1995)

Breathless from the coffee I drop my newspaper down
And left my eyeballs to read about some other town
Your blueberry flu and message at breakfast was nice
But when you shoot your mouth off expect to pay the price

She's a tangerine
Made in California
She's a soul fillet
Just a little haiku
To say how much I like you
And sap your sex away

Your tarpaper skin and visible beating heart
Your words on the paper sure gave me a start
Your huckleberry flu and one plus one is you
So if I can't be me, well I might as well be with you

She's a tangerine
Made in California
Need a soul fillet
Baby cry your eyes out
Baby dry your eyes out
Burn your life away

When the day came to an end you bounced right back again
Watch an evening news show the L.A. blues again
Your California sunshine sure gives me a sweat
And your tangerine nectar's a taste I won't forget

She's a tangerine
Made in California
She's a soul fillet
Baby cry your eyes out
Sister dry your eyes out
Burn your life away

It's just a little Haiku
To say how much I like you
It's just a little Haiku
To say how much I like you
It's just a little Haiku
